Tuesday night’s game between the Detroit Tigers and host New York Mets was postponed because of rain and will be made up on Thursday at 1:10 p.m. ET.The teams waited about two hours past the scheduled start time before the game was postponed on Tuesday. Both teams had a day off Thursday, and they aren’t scheduled to meet again this season aside from the current series.Tuesday’s scheduled starters, right-handers Casey Mize for Detroit and Adrian Houser for the Mets, are now supposed to pitch on Wednesday night, weather permitting. Steady rain is expected for most of the day.
